Well Andre, Haven't given it a thought yet; What do you suggest? I'm going to be running XP with the only major program on it thats a memory hog-MS Office 2003/Student-Teacher Edition; other than that big program;on my current desktop(which sadly I have to give to my brother;I'll miss it- 2.5 Gb RAM dual Pentium 4 2.8Ghz/2Mb Cache-nvidia gforce fx5200 all souped up) I only am currently using about 10 Gb of hard drive. And on the laptop I bumped the Harddrive to 80Gb. And will have to have Office for college(startin over in middle age-lol) but other than using about 12Gb max for all my programs;it's wide open; Whatever you think-I'll go for it.!! oh real quick if you could look at my post about the recycle bin and let me know what you think(it's in Vista general) I'de appreciate it. Thanks again for your and Zach's help.

I would do two 40GB partitions on that hard drive for Vista and XP. Considering you use only 12GB at most, that should be plenty. And your old computer from what you said would have worked fine with Vista except I might have thought about a hard drive upgrade and a better video card, (although they'd probably work okay) so your brother should be able to run Vista on it. I would have said that too, since I am using 20 GBs, I have installed Office, Encarta, Money, Photoshop, Flash, Nero and I only have 5 to 6 GBs left. From the sound of things, Jeff is probably gonna be using just Office and probably regular software such as Nero, so I believe he would be contented with 20 GBs. But, if he plans on acquiring the final product, and would like to have both XP and Vista on that computer, I would give it 40 GB or 50 GBs. (This is BETA 2 of course). -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
